About us Your Contribution Responsible for project purchasing for all China Schott Plants with consideration of bundling effect cross plants including spend strategy alignment with ASC and GCM, conducting RFQs, negotiation and contracting.Track sourcing project progress and initiate corrective action to meet the plan.Identify and develop the right suppliers based on the criteria of quality, cost, delivery and technical capability in the cooperation with global category manager and Business Unit.Managing and developing existing suppliers in China by implementation of frame contracts, negotiation of price and supplier audits together with QA Engineer regarding quality, cost, delivery and service.Develop and manage vendor relationships.Monitor and analysis of supply markets for responsible material groups.Manage purchasing to pay procedure to ensure smooth material supplying and to ensure the whole process is in accordance with the SCHOTT purchasing guideline. Also be responsible for master data administration; maintain supplier-related agreements in accessible data bases.Adjust daily business activities with suppliers, operates as “single point of contact” for suppliers e. g. demand/volume/delivery date changes.Support superior with the optimization of sourcing processes and systems to increase the efficiency of purchasing processes (e. g. benchmarks, worldwide purchasing) or adopt appropriate measuresExecute all purchasing activities and sourcing management decisions under consideration of principles of Compliance, environmental safety, health and safety (IMSU/EHS), as well as social responsibility (CSR).Perform other special duties as assigned by the Superior (among these: substitution of other Purchasers).
